The Beginning of Guerreras_cr

The beginning of Guerreras came to me as I reviewed a friend's law school application. She called herself a guerrera, a warrior, and that is what defined every step that she took in her life.

For a moment, I paused.

That was it - we womxn, Brown womxn, are guerreras.

We are resilient, powerful... we turn our voices to action.
